Is my donation tax deductible?

Yes, all donations over $2 to Cancer Council Queensland are tax deductible. 

Will I receive a tax receipt?

Absolutely! Your tax receipts are accessible through your regular giving portal at any time. You can login in here.

Will I receive an end of financial year statement?

At the end of each financial year, we'll send you a consolidated annual tax statement around mid-July. This statement covers all your regular donations and can be used to claim on your tax return. 

How can I log in to my regular giving portal to update my contact and financial details?

Accessing your regular giving portal is easy. You can do so by following this secure link at any time: Access Your Customer Portal. This link is designed to send a secure, time-limited access link to your email address, ensuring that your data remains protected. Please follow the instructions when you receive this email. 

Can I update my contact and credit card details myself?

Certainly! You have the autonomy to update your contact and credit card details at your convenience. Simply log in to your regular giving portal, where you can effortlessly manage your information with the assurance that your data is safeguarded. Additionally, you can conveniently access your receipts. Take a moment to explore this feature and ensure your details are up to date for future transactions.

Can I change the amount of my monthly gift? How?

Of course! You can increase or change your monthly donation at any time. Simply email donorrelations@cancerqld.org.au or call our team on 1300 663 936.

How do I cancel my regular donation?

If your current donation amount isn't aligning with your current situation, we can explore alternatives together, such as adjusting the donation amount or frequency to better suit your needs. 

Rest assured, we're here to assist you through this process. Our team, although sad to see you go understand that circumstances can arise, leading you to consider cancelling your regular donation. Remember, should you wish to resume your regular donation in the future, simply reach out to us, and we'll gladly assist you in reinstating it. Your support means a lot to us, and we're here to ensure your giving experience is as seamless as possible. 

How often are funds taken from my account?

As a regular giver, your chosen donation amount will be automatically debited from your nominated bank account or credit card each month on the date that you committed to be a regular giver and made your first donation.

How does Cancer Council Queensland protect my private information?

Making regular donations via your bank account - Your Direct Debit Request Service Agreement

Your Direct Debit Service Agreement can be found here. This agreement authorises Stripe Payments Australia Pty Ltd ACN 160 180 343 Direct Debit User ID number 507156 ("Stripe") to debit your account through the Bulk Electronic Clearing System (BECS) on behalf of Cancer Council Queensland (the "Merchant") for the amount that you entered on Cancer Council Queensland’s Direct Debit Request online or printed form. 

The agreement outlines CCQ’s obligations to you as a Direct Debit User and your responsibilities as a donor this agreement can also be found here and will be mailed to you after CCQ has processed your Direct Debit request.

Where do my monthly gifts go?

Cancer Council Queensland funds research and support services to best meet the needs of Queenslanders with cancer. This includes investment in research each year as well as our 13 11 20 support line, accommodation lodges for patients and carers, transport and other practical support services.
