With your help, we’re getting closer to a cancer free future every minute, every hour, every day.
Donations made in memory are directed to Cancer Council Queensland’s area of greatest need.
These funds may be used across the organisation, including to fund our research projects that find new and better ways to treat and detect cancer, prevention programs that empower people to reduce their cancer risk, and support services that help to ease the burden of cancer.
Donations received will not only make a huge difference to the lives of many people impacted by cancer, but will also help to create a brighter future for all Queenslanders.
Prevention
We know that preventing cancer is one of the most effective ways of creating a cancer free future. Your support allows us to develop programs that encourage and empower people to lead healthier lifestyles to help reduce their cancer risk.
Research
Nationally, we fund more cancer research than any other non-government organisation in Australia. Here in Queensland, the Cancer Council research team are cited across the world. With your support, we will continue to conduct and fund lifesaving cancer research to find better ways to detect and treat cancer, and improve quality of life during and after cancer.
