You can still donate to make a difference!
THANK YOU for your generous donations! We had such an incredible day raising funds for our emotional and practical support services.
More than 32,000 Queenslanders are diagnosed with cancer each year, and Cancer Council Queensland provides them with the practical and emotional support services they need like our 13 11 20 support line, to navigate cancer before, during and after cancer treatment.
This year, the launch of Daffodil Day will be on August 30 at 5pm and it will be a 24 hour giving day! Your once off donation will be matched* by our generous partners and will serve to improve our prevention, support and research programs.

Why become a Regular Giver?
Great or small, your monthly donation provides more predictable funding for Cancer Council Queensland. By planning ahead and allocating resources more efficiently, we can ensure your donation has the greatest possible impact to Queenslanders impacted by cancer.
Donations over $2 are tax-deductible and, at the end of the financial year, we'll send you a receipt to assist with your tax return.
Where does my monthly gift go?
Frequently Asked Questions
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes, all donations over $2 to Cancer Council Queensland are tax deductible.
Will I receive a receipt for my donation?
Absolutely! You can access your tax receipts at any time using the donor login here.
You will also receive one annual tax receipt at the end of the financial year, which we will endeavour to send by mid-July each year. You can use this receipt to claim a tax deduction for donations over $2 to Cancer Council Queensland.
If I choose to give monthly, will my contribution be doubled?
No. If you choose to give monthly, your monthly contribution will be the value you enter.
How much money goes to cancer research/support/advocacy/
prevention?
That’s a great question. 100% of your donation
goes straight to Cancer Council QLD and from
there we use it to run all the much-needed
services to help Queenslanders and families
who have been impacted by cancer.
Of course, there are always costs to raising
money but for every dollar we spend, we
raise up to $4 so we are able to help even
more people.
If you would like more information, please do consider our annual reports available on our website.
Will you share my details with other organisations/who will you share my details with?

The End Time shall be the earlier of either:?
a. The total of all Matched Donations for the Event reaching?$60,000, or;
