You can still donate to make a difference!

THANK YOU for your generous donations! We had such an incredible day raising funds for our emotional and practical support services.

More than 32,000 Queenslanders are diagnosed with cancer each year, and Cancer Council Queensland provides them with the practical and emotional support services they need like our 13 11 20 support line, to navigate cancer before, during and after cancer treatment.

This year, the launch of Daffodil Day will be on August 30 at 5pm and it will be a 24 hour giving day! Your once off donation will be matched* by our generous partners and will serve to improve our prevention, support and research programs.

How will my donation help?

You're helping Rob to access accommodation

In 2022, Cancer Council Queensland provided over 18,000 nights of accommodation to Queenslanders going through cancer treatment. With your help this Daffodil Day, we can continue to provide a home away from home for those who need to travel for treatment.

You're funding our Transport to Treatment program

For rural Queenslanders, access to cancer support services and hospitals can be difficult. Your support allows us to provide accommodation for rural and remote Queenslanders, making it easier for them to access treatment when they need it.

You're helping Kaitlyn to feel like herself again

Dealing with hair loss can be a very difficult experience and your support allows us to help Queenslanders feel more like themselves through our Wig and Turban service. In 2022, we provided over 900 wigs to Queenslanders impacted by cancer treatment.

How much money goes to cancer research/support/advocacy/
prevention?

add_circle_outline remove_circle_outline

That’s a great question. 100% of your donation
goes straight to Cancer Council QLD and from
there we use it to run all the much-needed
services to help Queenslanders and families
who have been impacted by cancer.

Of course, there are always costs to raising
money but for every dollar we spend, we
raise up to $4 so we are able to help even
more people.
