Cancer Council Queensland’s research is directed at understanding how to prevent cancer, how to diagnose cancer earlier, how to help patients achieve the best possible quality of life after a cancer diagnosis, and how to best support cancer patients and their families.

Cancer Council Queensland provides Queenslanders affected by cancer with support services that improve their experiences and quality of life. Our professional services and support programs include direct phone support, emotional counselling, accommodation & transport, wig & turban service, and financial support?
Investing in support services will accelerate the delivery and expansion of these vital services so all Queenslanders who are affected by cancer can access free support.
Advocacy & Prevention
Every day, Cancer Council Queensland speaks out on behalf of the community about issues that matter to people affected by cancer. We work with the community to strengthen laws and policies to reduce cancer risks and improve cancer care.
Investing in prevention and advocacy will accelerate us towards a future where the risk of preventable cancers across our state is significantly reduced, and policy changes are made to protect and promote the health of all Queenslanders.
